History

The Bishop's School for Boys was established in 1936.  We pride ourselves on being the oldest school in Jordan holds both a sense of heritage and a constant ongoing process to improve based on the latest methods of education.  To date, the school has graduated many students who have become leading members of our community.
The Bishop's School Amman was created under the notion of servicing the Jordanian public by contributing to the social and intellectual empowerment of its future generations. Utilizing the most effective educational tools, the school endeavors to raise individuals that make a difference, instilling in them a love for education, development and effecting change in their respective environments.
The school is a private institution that is under the umbrella of the Ministry of Education . It is currently teaching both national and international curriculums, such as the IGCSE, GCE A-level and is in the process of receiving authorization from the International Baccalaureate, as well as considering to become part of IBCC.
Along with academics the school offers many extracurricular activities such as: sports, music, art, and many other clubs. These activities are designed to contribute to the whole well-being of the student and his motivation for learning beyond the classroom.
